Winter in Keswick

Winter in Keswick is absolutely incredible at the moment. Snow covered mountains dominate the Lake District National Park and I feel so lucky to live here during these crazy Covid times. I’ve had incredible dog walks in our winter wonderland recently, fresh crunchy snow is good for the mind and certainly helps you get through the current pandemic we are all experiencing. My wedding photography has taken quite a hit due to the Covid restrictions, but on a positive note I have been walking more and occasionally taking the camera. This is one of my latest winter landscapes that I captured on a beautiful crisp morning high above our local town of Keswick. The image is suited to either full frame or panoramic and was captured on the Sony A7RMK3. This incredible camera captures 42 mega pixels of gob smacking detail and is suited to large format printing. I will also post this image to my online photography gallery. Prints can be purchased in a range of different sizes and formats. Large format canvas photographs as well as aluminium wall art is available.

Alfred Wainwright describes Catbells as one of his favourite fells, at a heigh of 451 metres. The panoramic view is spectacular and it’s also one of my favourite locations for Lake District photography. Both early morning and late afternoon offer lots of photography potential for Landscape photographers that travel from all over the world.
