Muncaster Castle Wedding Photographs
Anna & Jonathan were married at the stunning Muncaster castle in the Lake District on the 29th December 2015. This was my first wedding at Muncaster and I was a little excited to be invited to a castle wedding. I started my day catching up with the boys in Ravenglass, the Pennington Hotel had a great outlook over the Ravenglass Estuary offering a great natural backdrop. Bridal preparations were at the castle and the girls were on fine form, what a laugh we had. St Michael’s Church was my next stop for the big event, conveniently located in the castle grounds. After a lovely wedding ceremony, we headed over to the castle for a mixture of natural & location photographs. Here are a few highlights captured at Anna and Jonathan’s Muncaster Castle wedding. This was a great wedding to finish my busy 2015 season of wedding photography.
Muncaster Castle is surrounded by stunning Lake District mountains and the Ravenglass Estuary. The whole area is steeped with history that dates back to the Romans. If you ever visit the area a visit to the castle is a must. Don’t forget the Ravenglass & Eskdale railway and a trip out to Wasdale and Wastwater.
