Lodore Falls wedding gazebo
A beautiful day for Clare and Lee’s wedding at the stunning Lodore Falls Hotel. The Borrowdale valley, an outside wedding ceremony, speeches on Derwent Water and a wedding cake from Choccywoccydoodah, WOW! I had a fantastic day as part of this fun filled wedding day in the Lakes. The Lodore is surrounded by mountains, lakes and waterfalls, with the odd sheep thrown in for good measure. I started my day capturing a few bridal preparations with the girls, before heading downstairs to capture a few little characters …… It was soon time for the ceremony on a perfect summers day! Clare and her Dad approached with big smiles and huge Lake District mountains set the scene for a very beautiful wedding ceremony. After capturing a fine blend of natural photographs, afternoon tea was served…… A cake from Choccywoccydoodah was on display to tempt my sweet tooth! I thankfully resisted the temptation and captured a few more photographs. The wedding speeches were made on the Keswick Launch, during a lovely cruise on Derwent Water, which provided great photographic moments to capture amongst some of the best scenery in Cumbria.
