The new Orangery at the Inn on the Lake offers superb panoramic views of Lake Ullswater. Call in for afternoon tea or lunch via the A66 Troutbeck junction. If you’re feeling adventurous, I recommend heading over Kirkstone Pass which has stunning views of Brothers Water.
