What style of Wedding Photography do you provide?

I love location photography! I feel blessed to be located in the heart of the Northern Lakes. I create a modern blend of documentary and location photography with the final results being an artistic record of your day. Wedding Packages include the following

Black & white and colour photography. A selection of images available online for family and friends to view and purchase. Various wedding album/product options available including storybooks and fine art albums. I am with you all day from bridal preparations to the first dance. A digital download and slideshow is included in your wedding photography package, this is your personal copy of your wedding day to share with family and friends. I recommend that you select 120-130 photographs for your album design of your choice.

My prices start from £950.00 as a guide and vary depending on the size and location of your wedding, custom packages are available to suit your requirements. Wedding Albums

Aluminium Storybook Presentation

An outstanding contemporary styled quality product that is presented with an aluminium photo cover. This album offers the option to create a whole range of image sizes due to being 14 x 10 inches in size and can be doubled up to create a 28 x 10 inch panoramic. This album holds approximatly 100 photographs of your choice, telling the story of the day as it unfolds.

Fine Art

This gorgeous fine art wedding album has been developed by myself and the superb photographic lab I use. My sample album is finished in Antique White with exquisite fine art paper, also available in 20 different colours. The debossing of names provides a lovely finish, with a choice of four different fonts. I usually design this 14×10 inch Wedding Album with quite a few full page speads which open out to 28 x 10 inch. This is a great product to accommodate the location photographs I produce here in the Lake District.

The Gate Fold

The Gatefold Wedding Album combines modern styling with 40 pages giving you the opertunity to personally choose 90 wedding photographs. There is a small photo aperture on the front and an elegant magnetic wrap-around flap with the option of having your names etched.

Recommendations

We spent some time choosing a photographer for our Lake District wedding and eventually settled on Jason Chambers having looked through the fantastic wedding shots on his website and speaking to him on the telephone. From the very first phone call, nothing was too much trouble for Jason. He took time to listen to our ideas and suggested how he could help us, and at no time did we feel under any pressure. Over about 18 months – from booking right through to receiving our album, Jason was contactable either by telephone or email to answer our questions courteously and quickly. On our wedding day itself, Jason arrived early and took time to explain what he would be doing and listen to some of our more specific thoughts on particular photographs we would like. He was there all day and well into the evening, but at no time did we feel intruded upon – Jason was mostly in the background, snapping away and capturing the very best of our day. He felt very much part of the wedding itself and, without exception, our guests were full of praise for him. We had great fun being photographed, jumping in Jason’s car for a trip up a mountain and stopping the traffic for a Reservoir Dogs shot in the middle of Grasmere. The children too really warmed to Jason – he made them feel special and they really enjoyed their shots. Jason sent us a proof disc with a great selection of photographs which was waiting for us on return from our honeymoon – they were simply amazing and we were so happy with them. Family and friends could view the photographs on his website and I’ve lost count of how many people got in touch to tell us how fantastic they are. The problem we had though is selecting the photographs for our album – we wanted just about all of them ! Jason Chambers is not your bog standard wedding photographer – he is a different class altogether and our wedding album is testimony to this. We are glad we chose him to photograph our wedding and recommend him 100%. Rob & Sarah.

Hi Jason

Just a quick note to say THANK YOU so very much…. Sorry it’s taken a few days to acknowledge your email but we’ve been too busy looking at the slide show over & over &over again!!!!
The photos are AMAZING…. You have captured our day from the moment you arrived right through to moment you left, portraying what was such a happy and smiley day perfectly.
You were so un-intrusive the whole day and most of the photos show this, capturing us and our family/friends so naturally and to us that always makes for the best sort of photos.
The photos are everything we had hoped from you, you made the most of the venue ( even when you got a little frosty reception of Chris!!) and weatherwise you turned a typical dullish day in the Lake District to an interesting, moody and enticing day.
You included Mason beautifully, he wasn’t just a pet that had turned up for ‘The obligatory’ shot… you made him part of our wedding, I just absolutely love the shots of all the boys & him together front of house as well as the fantastic group walk!! (he looks so happy and relaxed). We both loved the fact that you did not mind him casually appearing in and out of shot.
As for our road trip to Elterwater! .. THANK YOU so much for taking the trouble to get us there in such a tight time frame, It was very much appreciated and so much fun. The result of our little road trip has produced some AMAZING wedding pics. They are absolutely fantastic.
We could go on & on & on but you probably heard it all before!!!!
You have given us a tiny problem!! We are so delighted with what you have taken we are now considering an album, so once we can pick out our absolute favourites (a very challenging task ) we will be back in touch.
