A big Thanks to Beth for being so patient waiting for me to become available to shoot a few portfolio shot’s. We finally got around to meeting up and capturing a few photographs on location. Here are a few from the shoot.

News of Canon testing a 5D mark 3 is exciting and must be due early this year. Both my mark 2 bodies have been absolutely amazing! Church interiors captured with very little light during the darkest Lake District day has not been a threat to picture quality. Have a look at a few of the photographs and see what you think. Looks like a cross between a 5D and 7D! Only time will tell………..

Abbey House Wedding Photographs – Barrow in Furness

First time at the Abbey House Hotel for me and wow did I enjoy it! Charlie and Ling were married in fine style in the great Abbey Hall which was smartly dressed with hanging drapes. Shortly after the wedding ceremony, we managed to visit the amazing Furness Abbey for a few location shots. I even got chance to meet one of the hairy bikers! Check him out in the blog.

Neisha and Rob searched all around the world for a mountain venue to hold their wedding ceremony. As they live in Queensland Australia, it must have been hard to organise their special day here in the Lake District. We finally met up at the coppermine’s only a few days before the wedding to discuss our ideas for the day.

Stacey and Aaron’s wedding at the Heather Glen – Ainstable

The Heather Glen is situated just outside Carlisle and it was the first time I have photographed this cool little venue. Stacey and Aaron had a superb wedding and the weather held out for a lovely little location shoot. Thanks to the Heather Glen staff for a great meal.

Lodore Falls Hotel Wedding Photographs

Michelle and Keith were married at the Lodore Falls Hotel situated in the beautiful Borrowdale Valley. Lot’s of Irish folk at this wedding with good humour! After the wedding breakfast we took advantage of the Lodore’s picture perfect setting and captured some great portraits.
