| Despite being one of the most photographed viewpoints in the Lake District, the view from Ashness Bridge, across Derwent Water to Keswick and Skiddaw is well worth seeing. Avoid the crowds by going early or late; that way sunrise or sunset will make your photograph all the more dramatic. Ashness Bridge can be located by taking the narrow road to Watendlath, a left-turn off the B5289 beside Derwent Water, about three miles south of Keswick. | |||
