Skiddaw Panoramic Sunset

My best selling sunset photograph has got to be this panoramic image of Derwent Water, Skiddaw and Catbells bathing in the last light. The Lake District was on fire with amazing light on this evening and the midges were certainly on form too. I nicknamed this image Eaten Alive! It was the last time I would head to the shore of Derwent Water to photograph the sunset in a T-Shirt. Being swarmed with pesky midges, whilst trying to create a panoramic photograph can be quite challenging! My photography workshops this year will include quite a few tips on how to shoot a sunset without being eaten alive. If you are visiting Keswick, it’s certainly worth a drive down the Borrowdale Valley to watch the sun go down. Ashness jetty is a popular location for photographers seeking an atmospheric scene to capture. My most popular sizes for this print or canvas is 10×30 inches or 60×20 inches, other print sizes are available on request.  This photograph is available to purchase from the shopping area of the website via this link  ……PURCHASE CANVAS AND PRINTS
