Defiantly worth a visit if you are heading up to the Lake District National Park with your camera. I captured this panoramic during an overcast day which improved later in the afternoon. Fortunately the clouds lifted providing beautiful pockets of light on Fleetwith Pike and the Honister Fells. I used the Olympus OMD EM-5 for a few Landscape Photographs throughout the day using the 12mm Olympus Prime and 45mm Prime. More panoramic photographs of the Lake District can be seen on the shopping area of the website via this Lake District Landscapes
If you are interested in Buttermere and the surrounding area I recommend watching this little aerial video I filmed from the summit of Rannerdale Knotts earlier this year. I used my DJI quadcopter and a GoPro hero 3 camera during a lovely evening. The Rannerdale bluebells had a fantastic display during early summer 2014 and I captured a lovely selection of photographs which I plan to upload soon.
