After an extremely busy year photographing weddings, portraits and commercial work it was time to have a well earned break! I couldn’t leave the cameras at home, they just had to come along on this trip. I have been looking forward to trying out the new Olympus Pen EPL-3 and Olympus PT-EP05L housing for quite some time now and this was my opportunity. The Philippines is an area we had not yet visited and we were on route heading for Magic Island Resort, Moalboal. Upon arrival we were greeted by the amazing view from our bungalow looking out onto the house reef.
During our stay we experienced the fantastic diving and service that Magic Island resort has to offer. Here are a few photographs from our trip of both below and above the water.

SEPTEMBER NEWS UPDATE
After being so impressed with the EPL-3 whilst diving the Philippines, I am now considering the newly released Olympus OMD EM-5 for our next Travel adventure. After reading a few reviews and chatting with EM-5 owners, I am hoping to purchase the Nauticam housing to accomadate the body and the new 12-50 port which is very scarce at the moment. Other bits of equipment on my wish list are as follows …………..
Panasonic 7-14mm with 6 inch semi dome port – Two Inon Z-240 Type 4. The question will be ……… Do I just travel with the EM-5 or also take the Canon 5D mark 3?
Our next trip is booked, we are diving the Red Sea from a live aboard (simply the best trip) for a week in November. Dive sites on our list are: Big and Little Brothers, Daedalus Reef and Elphinstone . This is going to be a great experiance for the two of us, keep your eyes peeled for a trip report!

Hoping to test the new 60mm Macro lens as well as the 20mm, 45mm 75mm primes.
