Over the past few years mountain biking in Cumbria and the Lake District has grown in popularity. Windermere and Keswick being the main locations offering bike hire and recovery services from local Mountain Bike shops.The new Altura Trail has been a great success with its 19 Kilometre red graded route and also the South and latest Blue route which offer fantastic views of Derwent Water, Helvelyn and Skiddaw.
